This coming Sunday we welcome DJ RESISTER back for her second Dance Temple set. Her first was incredible and this is sure to be another special dance!
As you all know a devastating earthquake (magnitude 7) has hit the Eastern part of Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6, followed by another 7.5 magnitude quake the same day.. Over 30,000 people have lost their lives and those who survived the earthquakes need urgent help.
It is estimated about 90,000 people are injured, and at least 300,000 have been left homeless - in the midst of a cold snowy winter. The impact has been widespread and many communities have been severely affected. In this difficult time, we are reaching out to ask for your support. In the aftermath of the horrific natural disaster in Turkey and Syria the needs are immense. Many have lost their loved ones. Some have been displaced once again. The amount of devastation is incomprehensible. Words are not enough to describe the destruction. There is an incredible amount of people needing help in many ways... Shelter, food, clothing, hygiene products and more... There are still some remote villages that has not received help. It is nerve wrecking for me to witness this from afar...
With your aid, we will donate 100% of the proceeds to Ahbap - an organization dedicated to providing aid and support to those impacted by the earthquake. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us provide much-needed aid to those affected by the earthquake. Thanks so much!
